Greenpeace MENA

Decolonization Journey — Governance, Culture, and Organisational Identity

The challenge
Greenpeace MENA initiated a renaming process from MENA to SWANA and wanted to use it as a catalyst for deeper organisational reflection on organizational culture and decision-making, language, governance, partnerships, and internal culture.

What we did
Soltara is designing an organisational transformation process across five phases: inception and methodology design; stakeholder consultations across staff, board, partners, donors, and community members; thematic analysis and comparative scoping report; facilitated learning workshop; and final synthesis report with strategic recommendations across seven organisational areas.

What this means for you
Identity and governance are closely linked and the words organizations use matter. Soltara facilitates the process that surfaces internal priorities, builds shared understanding, and co-creates a roadmap organisations can implement.

Health, Safety and Environment — Internal Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

The challenge The department had formal reporting systems. Staff were not using them. The culture of silence was measurable and the formal mechanisms were not producing honest communication. What we did Soltara redesigned the department’s strategic goals and rebuilt its stakeholder engagement approach. We facilitated co-design processes with staff and management, and built reporting practices designed for genuine engagement. What this means for you If your policies exist on paper but you need help shaping and supporting how people actually behave, reach out.

Leadership Development for Women — Research-Grounded Training

The challenge Women at one of Europe’s leading strategy consulting firms needed leadership and career development support grounded in research, not in generic executive coaching.
What we did Soltara designed and delivered a structured leadership development day drawing directly on peer-reviewed research in career construction, feminist standpoint theory, and inclusive HR practice.
What this means for you Leadership programmes designed by the researchers who produce the evidence they draw on are able to tailor programs to suit context and sector. Soltara does this seamlessly.
